April Fools! I faked my own death. Considering the branding power that comes with a well-conceived April Fools’ prank, I staged the ultimate one to promote my fictional folk duo The Feather Brothers. With my bandmate Max Knoblauch enlisting multiple acts for a tribute concert, I faked the ultimate sacrifice to help the world appreciate my life and music.
